Overview

The Mimaki CG-FX range is set to take the cutting world by storm. Offering by far and away the highest performance to affordability ratio in its class, the CG-FX sports a new head with advanced features and user friendly operation. With up to four point mark detection, and continual registration checking, long jobs can be cut as accurately as one offs. With a USB port as standard, high speed data transmission is offered to speed up large cut jobs. A choice of widths includes the 75cm, 130cm and 160cm models - the latter perfectly suited to accompanying the Mimaki JV5-160 solvent printer.

High speed continuous crop mark detection*

An optical sensor enables automatic consecutive detection of registration marks throughout the nested image which the Inkjet printers print, in combination with the automatic correcting feature that allows you to obtain a precise contour cut.

A much more accurate cut is provided by continuously detecting a maximum of 4 points and even allowing the user to input number of copies in each X/Y direction.

*This feature is only available when using FineCut

Engineered Head Unit

Automatic sheet cutter mechanism provides great flexibility and enhance performance.

“HALF CUT”mechanism, a proprietary technology of Mimaki

A die cut is a through cut, and a half cut is a cut through half the thickness of the media. Combining die cuts and half cuts makes it possible to produce a series of cuts with only a few joints keeping the image in place. After the cutting, the image can be easily detached with the fingers.

Selectable clamp pressure with high and low setting to permit a more accurate cut.

Selectable jog speed of low/medium/high settings to ensure proper and easy positioning of the media.

You can load media from back or front.

RS232C, USB interface is available.

The media roll holder will hold a total of 6 rolls simultaneously.

Optional and exclusive pen adapter can be used.

Pouncing tool is available as an option.
