The Mimaki CG-60 brings massive interest in the market, due to its outstanding quality and new features. Mimaki, renowned for high Quality Signmaking equipment, now offers a device that sets new standards in processing quality and achievement within the signmaking industry.

The new CG60SR continues with Mimaki's ongoing technical refinements. It can cut media up to 60cm in width; the boundaries for the length were tested at around 50 meters. The cutting-edge speed as well as the maximum upspeed have been increased. Speeds of up to 85cm/Sec. in the head movement and up to 60cm/Sec. in cutting are now achievable. With 400 grams of pressure, the CG60S can cut even thickest materials without problems, but the most notable feature is the DyeCUT, which enables the operator to cut the vinyl as normal followed by a second cut (with an offset) to cut through the vinyl and backing paper.

Convenient continuous crop mark detection

This technology is normally only found on the PRO-series of FX cutters. Automatic registration mark detection can be configured to recognize up to 4 reference points, both in in X-direction-and-Y-direction. This unique feature can then be used to cut around a printed image. To summarise, you would print your image on a vinyl printer and cut out your artwork on the CG-60.

Cutting is made simple and elegant

With the CG-60's selectable clamp pressure, including high and low settings, prevents long sheets of media from slipping, and eliminates high and low pressure damage to the media by grit-rollers. A selection of three jog-speeds ensures proper and easy positioning of the head to the point.

The roll sheet receiver with stopper can set the media correctly, preventing meandering of rolled media, and enabling highly accurate long sheet cutting. A special adaptor is included which allows the use of commercially available pens. Other features included as standard include a manual sheet-cutter and USB interface.
