Applications
| The Cutting ProTM cutting plotters are used in
a wide variety of applications, from storefront signs
to iron-on prints for customized T-shirts. Graphtec's
grit-rolling cutting plotters are ideal for cutting
signs and banners on high performance and intermediate
cast and calendered vinyl film, fluorescent film, and
thick vinyl film for illuminated displays. Typical
applications are company logos for automobiles, storefront
awnings, and banners for seminars and conferences.
The plotting function can be used, particularly in
combination with colorful wide-tip art pens, to produce
place cards for in-store point-of-purchase displays
and illustrations for posters and product packages. |

In
addition to a wide variety of films, Graphtec's flatbed
cutting plotters are ideal for cutting masking film
for printing industry applications. They also handle
rubber for sandblasting templates with ease. Once
a design has been cut into a rubber masking sheet,
the operator removes the cutouts as shown above.
The resulting template is then used to cover the
object to be sandblasted (like a stone marker; see
photo at left). |
