Graphtec's VC series FC2230 cutting plotters (see chart above) use vacuum adhesion to give you the firm hold-down that you need when you're cutting resistant materials. And you won't need a protective backing sheet -- the material adheres to and is cut directly on the writing/cutting panel itself. A new high-force pen block has also been added to help with thick, hard materials (the maximum cutting force has been increased from 500 gf to 1000 gf), and eliminates the need to go over the same area twice to make sure the blade cuts all the way through, and enabling you to use materials that other models just couldn't cut. |

| Choosing
a 2-pen type means that you don't have to stop and replace
the pen with a cutter blade or vice versa. Load one of
each and simply select the one you need for your cutting
application.
The vacuum adhesion cutting plotters easily handle oilboard for stencils and markings on drum cans, gas cylinders, concrete products, wood packaging, containers and road signs; compressed foam sheets; clothing patterns, and the cutting of sandblast rubber templates. All models offer a large-format LCD for interactive setting of cutting conditions; up to four sets of conditions can be stored in memory. To boost the productivity of your entire configuration, these plotters come with a 1 MB memory buffer to free your computer up quickly for other tasks. |
