With a maximum cutting speed of up to 58.5 inches per second (1485 mm/s) and delivering a cutting force up to 600g, the FC8000 delivers best-in-class performance on a variety of automotive customizing media from window tint to paint protection film… delivering unsurpassed 50 feet* tracking. With Graphtec's proprietary advanced ARMS (Automatic Registration Mark Sensor) system, the FC8000 AKZ delivers perfect contour cutting — adjusting for a variety of distortions that can occur during the printing process.

Media basket now included as standard	Match any FC8000 AKZ with any wide format inkjet printer and you have the ultimate solution for creating large-format stickers, vehicle graphics and wraps. Media brackets and anti-static string for front and rear reduces the static electricity that is so common with tint films that can restrict media movement. Plus, with its heavy-duty high end servo motor, it delivers accurate cutting of heavy materials such as paint protection films—making it the perfect cutting/plotting solution. The FC8000 vinyl cutter from Graphtec boasts a fantastic new all-in-one cutter head for supporting additional applications and higher productivity and reliability. The ARMS (Advanced Registration Mark Sensing System) featured in this cutting head simplifies contour cutting of printed data output on a printer and loaded in a Cutting Pro FC8000 series plotter, while significantly improving overall productivity for items such as labels or stickers.
	The FC8000 series incorporate Graphtec's industry-leading cutter features, including four-point registration mark (dual-axis skew) correction and segment-area correction, enabling graphics distorted during the printing or laminating process to be accurately cut regardless of warping. With a maximum cutting speed of 1485mm/s the FC8000 is the fastest in it's class, combine this with the ability to cut 3mm high characters and you have an unbeatable machine.

3 step push roller pressure

Push roller pressure is changeable in 3 steps.
Setting of suitable pressure to match the medias is possible.

Perforation cut and half cut

Superior software to help improve productivity and efficiency is included as standard

The cutting tool conditions, set by the controller can list up to 100 subjects, the contents of the list can be saved in PC as a file or can be read.

Tool conditions set by plotter operation panel are readable into the controller. Read settings and conditions are editable and can be reset to plotter side. Plotter error information and condition information can be saved out as a file. Compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Vista.

Multiple registration mark correction

Layout instructions are sent together with the cutting data for designs printed using layout functions such as set in a RIP, enabling continuous detection of registration marks for cutting. This feature is valuable when high accuracy is needed for cutting an array of copies.

Cutting Master 2

This plug-in software allows direct cutting from Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw. Create graphics or text, then output directly to the plotter.

Sophisticated tangential control algorithms

When the Tangential Control mode is engaged, the FC8000 exceeds the performance of mechanical tangential systems both in speed and output quality by controlling the blade rotation. The on-board tool height sensor detects the blade tip's contact with the media surface, then intelligently and precisely aligns the blade rotation for the following cutting operation, all in a fraction of a second. Graphtec's proprietary technology allows this sophisticated feature to completely eliminate distorted, rounded, or lifted corners- even when highly intricate design cutting is required on 0.025mm (1 mil) vinyl film or up to 1.25mm(50mil)sandblast rubber. This innovative and high precision system architecture is what enables the FC8000 to cut small text strings on vinyl. There is no other cutter/plotter on the market that can match the FC8000 Series' unsurpassed precision and built-in intelligence.

Intelligent soft Landing Tool

Improved cutting/plotting quality and prolonged tool life are just a few of the outstanding standard features of the FC8000 series, made possible by the innovative Intelligent Soft Landing Tool. The Graphtec proprietary closed-loop servo actuator, with an integrated precision sensor, ensures fast and precise yet gentle tool contact with the material surface during up and down motions. In addition to superior and accurate output, the soft landing feature prolongs the life of the cutting/plotting tool and maximize throughput performance. The Intelligent Soft Landing Tool provides not only consistent and optimum cutting quality throughout the job, but also lowers operating costs.
