What system is required?

The sheet size remains unchanged, even if I move the origin position on the cutting plotter side and then perform sheet loading.

The font type cannot be plotted.

An error occures when I change the command of the plotter configuration and plot even if command configuration of the plotter is set AUTO.

Nothing is displayed in the cut area.

Can I use a cutting plotter besides MIMAKI?

FineCut is not displayed in the File menu of Adobe Illustrator.

Can I use a combination of the cutting-by-layer operation and the cutting-by-color operation ?

When I execute split plot using "DIVISION cut" of Mimaki CG series, the message is displayed after the first plotting and the remaining data is not plotted.

When I plot multiple objects using "No. COPIES" of Mimaki CG series, the message is displayed after the first plotting and the remaining data is not plot.

The data displayed in the Plot dialog is small and difficult to read.

When I plot a figure using "Recognize Stroke Weight and Overlap", it is plotted twice.

Can I change the unit of offset at the time of Frame Extraction ?

When I entered 0 as the offset for Frame Extraction, I could not execute it normally.

In Frame Extraction, is the stroke weight etc. taken into consideration ?

When I execute "Recognize Stroke Weight and Overlap" and "Frame Extraction" with Adobe Illustrator 9.0, the normal result is not obtained for some objects.

With Adobe Illustrator9.0, the name of a sublayer is not displayed in the Plot dialog.

How is the transparency of Adobe Illustrator 9.0 handled by FineCut ?

Does the settings of the CG media setup (CF media setup) disappear if FineCut is re-installed ?

I output an image with register marks on a printer for register mark recognition of FineCut, but register marks cannot be recognized on FineCut side.

What shall I do to plot only a specific area of a file.

Is there any method which makes it easier to peel a cutting sheet off ?

In case origin is centered, even if I check Reset Origin of Feed Direction in Dislocate Head After Cut of FineCut and execute , the origin is not reset.(It is reset only at the first time, but second time it goes back to the position fust after media set.)

Windows Only

When I insert the CD-ROM, the message for deleting Mimaki FineCut appears.

The message notifying that serial port is not found appers in communication port of plotter setting dialogue although my computer is equipped with a serial port.

Does FineCut operate on a Windows PC without a serial port ?

Error No.1 occures when I execute Check Media or Plot in Windows NT/2000/XP.

Macintosh Only

An error message notifying that the communication port has already been used by other applications appears.

With MacOS 9.0.2 or 9.0.3, output cannot made be from Port 1 of Keyspan USA-28X. (Error No.-43 occurs.)

When I installed the driver for the OPT-0030 USB serial adapter (USA-19 from Keyspan) and then restarted MacOS, it could not be activated.

I want to connect USB serial adapter OPT-SS022 (USA-28X) and OPT-SS030 (USA-19) through a USB hub. Are there any hubs supported by Mimaki ?)
