| Look to the future with a JFX 1631 from Signmaster Systems |
| Powered by Mimaki's cutting-edge technologies including UV LED curing, the IMS(Intelligent Microstepping System), and UV ink application, the JFX-1631 provides for a new digital workflow that will change the course of the printing industry forever. |
Less media deformation and a wider selection of media
| The new UV LED curing technology does not emit infrared rays, thus eliminating any thermal deformation of media. The UV LED technology enables printing on heat-sensitive materials such as acrylic and styrene panels. Due to its low operation temperature, users have a broader choice of media. This enables the user to print on up to 50 mm thick substrates, paving the way for new and exciting applications. | ||
Is drying time an obstacle to your productivity? Not any more. UV LED curing means instantaneous drying that eliminates the post-printing drying time which is necessary when printing with acqueous or solvent inks. This innovation leads to a dramatic reduction in job turnaround time (from printing to processing) and to increased productivity. Another decisive benefit of UV LED technology is the fact that UV LEDs do not need any warm-up time. They can be switched on and off whenever they are needed and used instantly. |
Do you need precise, high-quality prints producing fast? The new high-speed heads on the JFX-1631 enable you to print twice as fast as with Mimaki's JF series. With this innovation, JFX-1631 achieves a dramatic increase in productivity and a significant reduction in turnaround time. The newly developed head-positioning mechanism uses a high resolution linear scale for highly accurate dot placement. This results in far fewer banding artifacts and even the possibility of printing characters which will be legible at only 3 points in size. |
Maximum resolution of 1200 dpi and variable dot technology (providing 7 different dot sizes) realize near-photographic image quality. Even printing in 4-color mode produces a non-grainy print. With a minimum dot size of 6 pl, sharp edges on small text and smooth skin tones can be created. This highly specified UV LED curable flatbed inkjet printer is also environmentally friendly. Its UV LEDs have a longer lifetime and save about 2/3 the energy of conventional UV printers employing metal halide lamps. |

Includes Mimaki RasterLink Pro 5 IP
Designed specifically to fully utilize the powerful features of Mimaki printers, the new generation of RasterLink RIP software gives you total control over what you are printing, for the highest quality output. 16-bit rendering eliminates the tone-jump often observed when using the older 8-bit system. RasterLink is a user-friendly yet powerful package, allowing free positioning of images on the RIP. Versatile editing functions such as tilting, cropping, scaling and rotation are provided. Networks incorporating both Windows and Apple Macintosh technologies pose no problems to RasterLink, and the latest firmware updates and profile downloads are available through the web update function. |
