Job Description for Sales & Marketing Coordinator

 

To take a customer focused and commercial approach to the running of our sales facility, with the aim of maximising turnover and productivity.

Location: Market Drayton, Shropshire
Salary: Negotiable, dependant upon applicant and experience.

COMPANY;

We offer Sign Making Solutions to customers throughout the UK. This includes hardware, software and media related products. We also install equipment throughout the UK and provide technical support for our more advanced equipment.

ROLE;

To take a customer focused and commercial approach to the running of our sales facility, with the aim of maximising turnover and productivity.

At least 75% of your working week will be spent on sales and marketing activities. You will need to be a commercially minded proactive person who is happy to approach new businesses and introduce our services. You be expected to liase with customers from the original enquiry to the dispatch and invoicing stage. In addition you will assist the business in other area’s, time allowing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES;

a) To ensure that all customers are handled in a calm and professional manner.
b) To conduct regular analysis of competitor activity and ensure that all staff are aware of competitor pricing policies and services offered.
c) To turn prospective enquiries into customers.  
d) To maintain and develop Signmaster System's marketing database.
e) To identify and address local marketing opportunities.
f)  To instigate and fully support all training initiatives in order to maximize employee relations.

g) Take orders from initial enquiry to final invoice & dispatch stage

h) Assist in other area’s of the business as required.

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE;

a) Sales / Customer service background.
b) Experience in marketing (not essential).
c) Confident, well presented and professional with excellent telephone skills.
d) Articulate.  A good standard of written English is required for both report writing and marketing literature.
e) Creative - To implement good marketing strategies.
f)  Good IT Skills.

g) Flexible approach.

h) Willing to go the extra mile to achieve all round satisfaction.

i)  To be able to work on your own initiative.
