Sign Board Cutters - Roland’s CAMM-1 desktop vinyl cutters are  known worldwide for being affordable, reliable and as easy to use as any  desktop printer. The new CAMM-1 CX-12/24 offers exceptional performance, unbeatable Roland reliability, and unmatched value, making it the perfect desktop signmaking machine.

The CX-12/24 incorporates several new features to simplify operation even further. The dark gray, one-piece front-panel includes a new JOG dial that eliminates dipswitches. Now you can select the rotate, speed, downforce and offset control using the JOG dial and view the input on the new front-panel LED display above the JOG dial. The control panel  features reliable, long-lasting push buttons, replacing the membrane switches of earlier models. And the material-loading lever is relocated  closer to the control panel, making it easier to move and align the pinch  roller wheels.

The CX-12/24 is exceptionally easy to  use and incorporates advanced features previously available only on  Roland’s PRO series vinyl cutters. These include:


• Variable cutting speeds from 1 cm/sec to 40 cm/sec
• Three custom offset increments of 0.175, 0.25 and 0.50 mm Eight custom user pre-set settings to store for later use Three origin point settings, adding material front edge sensing
• Advanced curve-smoothing function to cut circles and curves with high precision and speed

The CX-12/24 delivers an advanced curve-smoothing  function resulting in 10% faster throughput over earlier models. A test-cut function allows  you to check the machine’s downforce before actually cutting. With the  optional water-based pen, you can even check how finished jobs will turn out before cutting vinyl. Blade offset values can be adjusted for optimum results for a wide range of vinyl and specialty substrates including sandblast, ensuring that corners and edges are cut perfectly on even the  smallest letters and graphics.

 Although the CX-12/24 takes up  little counter space, it’s compatible with industry standard vinyl widths.  CX-12/24 compatible materials include vinyl, paint mask, reflective vinyls, sandblast and even environmentally safe vinyl chloride-free media  . . . giving you a wide variety of creative options for every signmaking  job. And the CX-12/24 is compatible with all professional signmaking  software.
