Feedback from our Run By Printers, For Printers Team Training  – you may or may not know that we have implemented a new training program to ensure that our team at Signmaster can live up to our mission statement ‘Run by Printers, For Printers’.  For more information on this, please read our blog which explains it all.

Our latest team members to complete the training is Josh Hall and Robert Dutton. Let’s see what they had to say.

Josh Hall

Josh, who is our Inks & Media Sales Executive, originally came to Signmaster on work experience, and he later became an apprentice where he learned how to become a printer. Here is his feedback.

“Signmaster’s Run By Printers for Printers course was brilliant. It was a great opportunity to refresh and gain more understanding of being in the customer’s shoes.

This has helped my skills as I&M Sales to continue speaking to customer about the importance of maintenance for the machine, to help their production to keep running and any other advice or tips I can pass over.

It was interesting to see, that after 2 years of being out of print room, how machines have upgrade to make it easy for the customer to use. How you can now use rasterlink and versaworks to help with artwork changes. Which is really helpful if you have no experience using photoshop or illustrator.

I would like to say a big thank you to Signmaster, for giving us the opportunity to do the course. I look forward to future ones if new machines are released or more software upgrades.”

Rob Dutton

Next up is Robert Dutton (Rob as we call him). Rob is one of the Hardware Solutions Sales Consultants that specializes in wide format. Here is what Rob had to say.

“The Signmaster ‘Run By Printers, For Printers’ course was  fantastic. Giving me the opportunity to gain an insight into the procedures and challenges our customers face on a daily basis.

This has helped to gain both an understanding and appreciation for the work our customers do, whilst also developing the skills set to help customers in my role as a Hardware Sales Consultant.

As someone who is still relatively new to the Industry, this course has been vital to my learning and I can’t thank Signmaster enough for organising this!”
