Versaworks 6 for seamless print-then-cut workflow
For superior reliability, the GR2 series is fully compatible when paired with Roland DG Printing devices such as the VF2-640, and print/cut data can be handled by VersaWorks 6 for efficient production of stickers and labels.
Equipped with the New Roland DG AAS Ⅱ Positioning Function to Assist High-Precision Print-then-Cut
GR2 series features a standard Automatic-Aligning System (AAS II) to guarantee precise contour cutting by automatically detecting the crop marks on digitally produced images.
Auto-Rotation
- GR2 detects the AAS crop marks to distinguish feeding material feeding direction and rotate cutting content automatically.
You don’t need to rotate the material by yourself.
* Only 180° is available.
Segmental Positoning
- GR2 series features Segmental Positioning function which can correct the crooked print.
- Segmental Positioning function can scan the crop marks one by one automatically to calibrate shift.
※Shifting must be within the detectable range
Section Cutting
- Section cutting divides the long plot data into sectional output jobs to gain higher cutting quality and increase precision.
- GR2 scan crop marks of section 1 and cut the plot data in section 1, and then it scan crop marks of section 2 and cut the plot data in section 2, and so on.
Multiple copies
- AAS crop marks offers the multi-copy function.
- The function is used to duplicate images to let you cut quantities of images at a time.
- The AAS II sensor will automatically scan crop marks for each individual image to ensure the contour cutting precision.
GreatCut-R Software
The GR2 comes bundled standard with GreatCut-R with a variety of dedicated cutting functions that support comfortable operations, such as setting up weed lines and saving job histories. You can select the optimal output process to suit your work environment and the nature of your work.
