Siser Ink Block PS LT | Cut-Only Heat Transfer Vinyl Overview

Siser Ink Block PS LT is a specialist cut-only heat transfer vinyl for sublimation-dyed polyester garments.

Its specialist structure creates a barrier between the garment dye and the applied transfer.

This helps reduce dye migration that can otherwise discolour light or contrasting HTV graphics.

Siser dye-blocking heat transfer vinyl is particularly useful for sportswear, uniforms and performance polyester garments.

Designed to Block Dye Migration

Sublimation dyes can reactivate when polyester garments are heated during decoration.

These dyes can migrate upwards and change the colour of a standard heat transfer film.

Siser Ink Block PS LT is engineered specifically to reduce this migration effect.

The barrier structure helps maintain the intended colour of the finished decoration.

110-Micron PU Construction

Siser specifies an average thickness of 110 microns for P.S. Subli LT.

The polyurethane film is supplied on an adhesive polyester carrier for reliable cutting and positioning.

The material is also laser friendly according to Siser's current product guidance.

Siser lists the product as REACH compliant, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certified and VeganOK.

Cutting Settings

Mirror the artwork before cutting Siser Ink Block PS LT with a compatible vinyl cutter or plotter.

Siser recommends a 45-degree blade and approximately 60gf cutting pressure.

A cutting speed around 30cm per second is specified in Siser's technical sheet.

Always perform a test cut before beginning a full production run.

Weed the unwanted vinyl before positioning the finished graphic onto the garment.

Low-Temperature Heat Application

Apply Siser Ink Block PS LT at 135°C for 15 seconds.

Siser specifies medium heat-press pressure of approximately 2.5 to 3.5 bar.

The lower application temperature is particularly useful when decorating sensitive sublimated polyester textiles.

Remove the adhesive polyester carrier either hot or cold after pressing.

Made for Sublimated Polyester

Siser specifically recommends this material for polyester textiles coloured using sublimation dyes.

It is useful for sports kits, performance clothing, workwear and other sublimated polyester garments.

Test unfamiliar garments before production because dye behaviour can vary between fabrics and manufacturers.

Garment Care

Wait at least 24 hours after application before washing the decorated garment.

Wash at temperatures up to 40°C according to Siser's care guidance.

Do not tumble dry, dry clean, bleach or use aggressive chemical cleaning agents.
