Features

Accurate Print-to-Cut Registration

The AK4 uses an integrated CCD camera system to read printed registration marks and automatically align the cut file with the artwork.

This helps maintain consistent accuracy across full sheets and repeat jobs while reducing the need for manual positioning.

Multiple Finishing Processes from One Machine

A wide range of interchangeable tooling allows the AK4 to handle different finishing requirements from one platform, including:

  • Cutting

  • Creasing

  • Routing

  • V-grooving

  • Kiss cutting

This makes it a flexible option for signmakers, display producers and print businesses handling a varied mix of materials and applications.

Up to 1500mm/s Cutting Speed

With a maximum stated cutting speed of 1500mm/s, the AK4 is designed to keep finishing moving efficiently and reduce bottlenecks after printing.

Cut Materials up to 50mm Thick

The AK4 supports materials up to 50mm thick, giving businesses greater flexibility when working with rigid boards, display materials and other thicker substrates.

0.1mm Cutting Accuracy

With a stated cutting accuracy of 0.1mm, the AK4 is designed for jobs where precise finishing and repeatability matter, from contour-cut graphics through to more complex display and packaging work.

Two Useful Cutting Sizes

AK4-2516

  • Effective cutting area: 2500 x 1600mm

  • Machine size: 3450 x 2300 x 1350mm

AK4-2521

  • Effective cutting area: 2500 x 2100mm

  • Machine size: 3450 x 2720 x 1350mm

Vacuum Media Hold-Down

A vacuum system helps keep media stable on the cutting bed during production, supporting accurate cutting across large sheets and different materials.

Built for Stable Production

The AK4 uses a steel spine frame together with symmetrical upper and lower guide rails, providing a rigid platform designed around repeatable movement and consistent cutting performance.

Supports DXF & HPGL Files

Support for DXF and HPGL file formats, allowing the AK4 to fit into common digital cutting and CAD-based production workflows.

Why the IECHO AK4?

Turn Printing into Finished Products Faster

A printer can only produce the graphic. The real job isn't finished until the material has been cut, creased, routed or prepared for installation.

The IECHO AK4 gives sign and print businesses a way to automate that finishing stage, helping reduce manual cutting and move jobs through production more efficiently.

Its combination of CCD camera registration and interchangeable tooling means a single machine can handle everything from accurately contour-cut printed graphics to routing and creasing more complex materials.

Ideal for a Wide Range of Applications

The AK4 is well suited to work such as:

  • Printed signage

  • Display graphics

  • Exhibition panels

  • POS & retail displays

  • Packaging prototypes

  • Stickers and decals

  • Foam and rigid board finishing

  • V-grooved display work

  • Creased packaging materials

  • General print finishing

Reduce Manual Finishing

Hand-cutting large sheets is slow, labour-intensive and leaves more room for inconsistency.

By using a digital cutting workflow, the AK4 can help businesses improve repeatability, reduce operator handling and free up skilled staff for other production work.

Bring More Finishing In-House

If you're currently outsourcing routing, contour cutting or specialist finishing, an AK4 can give you greater control over turnaround times and help keep more of the production process under one roof.

That can be particularly useful for businesses producing short runs, bespoke work or fast-turnaround jobs, where outsourcing can quickly become a bottleneck.

One Cutter for Different Types of Work

The biggest strength of the AK4 is its versatility.

Rather than investing in separate machines for different finishing tasks, the interchangeable tool system allows one flatbed cutter to cover a broad range of applications.

For busy sign and print shops with a varied workload, that flexibility can make a real difference to how efficiently jobs move through production.

Choose the Size That Fits Your Workflow

With both 2500 x 1600mm and 2500 x 2100mm cutting areas available, the AK4 can be matched more closely to the sheet sizes, applications and floor space within your production environment.
