B2 UV Flatbed Printing
With a 770 x 515 mm printing area and capacity for objects up to 204 mm thick, the IO-300 gives you plenty of flexibility for printing directly onto products, components and substrates.
Its vacuum table helps hold media securely during printing, while positioning guide pins make accurate and repeatable placement easier – particularly useful when producing multiple items or repeat jobs.
Built for Productive UV Printing
The IO-300 uses staggered printheads and high-output UV-LED lamps to combine productivity with detailed UV output.
Roland documents simultaneous CMYK and White production at up to 3.2m²/h, while optimised bi-directional multilayer printing helps speed up jobs involving White and special effects.
A new Distance Mode also allows printing with up to a 10 mm print gap, providing more flexibility when working with thicker or uneven objects.
A Choice of Inks for Different Applications
The IO-300 can be configured around the type of work you produce.
EUV-H is designed for harder materials and industrial applications, with CMYK, White, Gloss and Primer available. The jettable Primer can improve adhesion on more challenging surfaces including metal and glass.
Alternatively, EUV-A provides greater flexibility for softer or bendable materials, making it suitable for applications such as leather, soft PVC, canvas and flexible products.
White, Gloss & Special Effects
Go beyond standard CMYK printing with White and Gloss ink.
White allows you to produce vibrant graphics on coloured or transparent products, while Gloss can be used for clear finishes, spot effects and textured or embossed details.
For businesses producing personalised merchandise and higher-value products, this gives you more ways to add creative finishes without introducing a separate production process.
Precision & Repeatability
The IO-300 uses a high-rigidity chassis and ball screw mechanism to provide stable, accurate table movement and repeatable print positioning.
An ioniser helps reduce static before printing, while the positioning pins provide a straightforward reference point when loading products.
For more automated setup, an optional non-contact laser sensor can measure media height without touching the object.
Designed to Make Everyday Operation Easier
A 7-inch touchscreen gives operators straightforward control over the printer and displays useful information including the current copy, print layer and estimated remaining print time.
Jobs can also be paused and brought forward using the View function, allowing the operator to inspect print quality or check product positioning before continuing.
Automatic maintenance features, including an automatic cloth wiper, help reduce routine maintenance work and support consistent day-to-day production.
VersaWorks 7 Workflow
The IO-300 works with VersaWorks 7, providing a familiar Roland workflow for job setup and production.
Features include jig templates and advanced variable data tools for producing personalised items, serialised products, name badges and other jobs where artwork changes from one product to the next.
Variable text, images, QR codes and barcodes can all form part of the workflow, helping turn repeat personalisation work into a more production-friendly process.
Optional Rotary Printing
Add the optional rotary axis to expand production into cylindrical products.
It supports cylindrical objects from 10 to 115 mm in diameter and 50 to 540 mm in length, opening up applications such as bottles, drinkware and other cylindrical products.
