Roland RC-300 Features
Dedicated Helical Printing Technology
Rather than printing an object in multiple steps, the RC-300 grips and rotates the product while printing the graphic in a continuous spiral motion. This enables seamless 360° decoration and supports faster production across a variety of cylindrical shapes.
Fast Production
Designed for repeat production, the RC-300 can achieve a cycle time of under 60 seconds for White + CMYK, depending on the object and print conditions. Roland's dealer guide lists 46 seconds for CMYK and 57 seconds for White + CMYK under its specified test conditions.
Print More Than Straight Cylinders
The RC-300 isn't limited to perfectly straight bottles and tumblers. Its printing system supports parallel, tapered, convex and concave cylindrical objects, giving you greater freedom to work with different products and applications.
Roland DG Smart Jet Control
A built-in laser sensor measures the distance between the printhead and object, helping maintain consistent print quality across uneven surfaces.
The system supports height differences of up to 7 mm, excluding the 3 mm head gap, allowing smooth, sharp output across more complex cylindrical shapes.
Industrial-Grade GEN6 Printheads
Two new multi-channel GEN6 industrial printheads provide precise droplet control for detailed, vibrant and consistent output, while supporting Roland's high-viscosity EUV-H inks and Primer.
New EUV-H UV Ink
Roland's newly developed EUV-H ink has been created for industrial applications requiring increased durability.
The ink offers improved dry friction performance and solvent resistance, while Roland states wash durability of up to 125 cycles, depending on the print conditions and material.
CMYK + White + Gloss + Primer
Go beyond standard colour printing with White, Gloss and Primer alongside CMYK.
White allows you to work with a wider range of coloured and specialist objects, Gloss provides additional decorative possibilities, while the on-board jettable Primer can improve adhesion to materials including metal, glass and plastic.
Store Up to 50 Object Presets
Save the dimensions and settings for up to 50 different object types directly on the printer.
When a repeat job comes back, the table can automatically adjust to the stored base position and tilt, reducing the need for repeated alignment and helping speed up changeovers.
Jigs Included
The RC-300 is supplied with 10 jigs for common open-top objects, helping businesses get started with a range of popular cylindrical products without having to develop every jig from scratch.
7" Touchscreen
An intuitive 7-inch touchscreen interface provides straightforward control of the printer and helps simplify everyday operation, including repeat production tasks.
VersaWorks 7 Included
Roland's VersaWorks 7 RIP software is included and has functionality specifically designed around the cylindrical printing workflow.
Enter the object dimensions and shape and VersaWorks can make the necessary adjustments, including automatically calculating artwork for tapered objects to produce seamless 360° prints.
Roland DG Connect & Designer
The bundled software package also includes Roland DG Connect and Roland DG Connect Designer, providing cloud-based tools for designing, printing and monitoring production.
