Description

Roland TrueVIS LG-540 UV printer and cutter

Produce stickers, labels, window graphics and signage in-house with the Roland TrueVIS LG-540. This 54-inch wide-format UV printer/cutter combines UV-LED printing and contour cutting, helping you reduce outsourcing and keep control of turnaround times.

Meet tight deadlines

UV ink cures during printing, so there is no solvent outgassing wait. Print and contour cut suitable graphics on one machine, then move into finishing. Material testing and any lamination requirements depend on the application.

Offer labels and graphics with more impact

White ink adds opaque details to clear or coloured media. Gloss adds spot finishes and texture, while Red and Orange options extend the colour range. Available effects depend on your ink configuration. Tell us what your customers need and we’ll help you choose.

Spend less time setting up

Automatic media calibration and a 7-inch touchscreen simplify setup. The included take-up unit helps manage longer rolls, while 750 ml ECO-UV ink pouches support regular production. VersaWorks RIP software is included for preparing print and cut jobs.

Choose a format that fits your work

The LG-540 accepts media up to 1,371 mm wide, with a maximum print and cut width of 1,346 mm and roll weight of 35 kg. CMYK output reaches 35.0 m²/h in Generic Banner Draft mode; Generic Sign Production Standard runs at 14.7 m²/h. Ink setup, quality settings and finishing affect practical throughput.

Find the right LG-540 package

We’re run by printers, for printers. Ask us about samples, ink options and demonstration availability, or request your Roland LG-540 quote. For help choosing, speak to our Roland specialists.

Which materials suit the LG-540?

The LG-540 accepts media from 295 to 1,371 mm wide. Printing thickness is up to 1.0 mm including the liner; cutting limits are 0.4 mm with the liner or 0.22 mm without it. Maximum roll weight is 35 kg, with a maximum 250 mm roll diameter and 2-inch or 3-inch cores.

Suitable flexible vinyl, clear film and backlit materials support a range of graphics applications. Media compatibility depends on the material, ink setup and intended use, so ask us to assess your stock. Semi-rigid card requires the appropriate optional extension table and supported media.

What can you make with the LG-540?

Create stickers, labels, decals, window graphics, signage and point-of-sale displays on suitable media. Depending on configuration, White supports opaque details on clear or coloured substrates, while Gloss adds spot finishes and tactile effects.

Packaging prototypes and backlit work are further possibilities to discuss with us. We will help you check the material, ink configuration and finishing process for the job.
