Siser ColorPrint PU | Printable Heat Transfer Vinyl Overview

Siser ColorPrint PU is a professional printable heat transfer vinyl developed for detailed, full-colour garment graphics.

Its lightweight polyurethane construction creates a soft finish while keeping decorated garments comfortable and flexible.

The material is ideal for logos, illustrations, photographs, gradients and artwork unsuitable for traditional cut-only vinyl.

Siser ColorPrint PU printable heat transfer vinyl integrates easily into established digital print-and-cut garment workflows.

Lightweight Printable PU Film

ColorPrint PU has an average thickness of approximately 80 microns.

This thin construction helps transferred graphics sit naturally on the garment rather than feeling excessively heavy.

The material is available in different widths and finishes to suit varying production requirements.

Print, Cut and Weed

ColorPrint PU is designed for compatible solvent, eco-solvent and HP Latex inkjet printing systems.

Print the required artwork before contour cutting the finished graphic.

Excess material can then be weeded away before the transfer is prepared for application.

Siser recommends a 45-degree blade with approximately 65gf cutting pressure as a starting point.

Actual cutting settings may require adjustment for your machine, blade condition and artwork.

Application Tape and Heat Pressing

After weeding, use suitable Siser TTD application tape to lift the printed graphic from its backing.

Siser recommends heat applying ColorPrint PU at 155°C for 15 seconds.

Use medium pressure during transfer for reliable adhesion.

The application tape should then be removed hot or warm according to the transfer tape instructions.

Suitable Garments

Siser specifies ColorPrint PU for cotton, polyester, poly/cotton blends and Elastan.

It is not recommended for treated textiles or dye-sublimated garments.

Typical applications include T-shirts, workwear, sportswear, promotional garments and personalised clothing.

Its printable construction is particularly useful when artwork contains many colours or detailed photographic elements.

Garment Care

Wait at least 24 hours after application before washing the decorated garment.

Siser specifies washing temperatures up to 60°C.

Avoid bleach and other aggressive chemical products.

ColorPrint PU can be tumble dried using a normal setting but should not be dry cleaned.
