Made using a water-based, eco-friendly formulation, EcoStretch delivers a softer, more breathable feel than many traditional films — while still offering the cutting and weeding performance professionals expect from Siser.

What makes EcoStretch stand out is its exceptional stretchability and recovery, making it the ideal HTV for elastic and performance fabrics. Siser EcoStretch Textile | Cut-Only Heat Transfer Vinyl Overview

Siser EcoStretch Textile is a lightweight cut-only heat transfer vinyl developed for flexible and stretch garment applications.

Its water-based polyurethane construction combines a soft feel with strong stretch and recovery.

Siser stretch heat transfer vinyl is especially useful for sportswear, activewear and elastic garment fabrics.

The material is also designed for fast application on heat-sensitive textiles.

Thin, Flexible PU Construction

EcoStretch has an average thickness of approximately 85 to 90 microns.

The thin polyurethane film helps decorated garments retain flexibility and comfort during movement.

It is well suited to detailed lettering, logos, names, numbers and flexible branding.

Siser lists EcoStretch as REACH compliant, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certified and VeganOK.

Designed for Stretch Fabrics

EcoStretch is suitable for cotton, polyester, poly/cotton blends and elastic fabrics.

Its stretch performance makes it particularly useful for elastane, activewear and performance garment applications.

The product is not recommended for dye-sublimated or treated fabrics.

Always test unfamiliar textiles before beginning full production.

Cutting Settings

EcoStretch is a cut-only HTV and should not be digitally printed.

Mirror the artwork before cutting with a compatible vinyl cutter or plotter.

Siser recommends a 45-degree blade with approximately 50 to 60gf cutting pressure.

A cutting speed around 20cm per second is specified in Siser's technical guidance.

Perform a test cut before production to confirm clean cutting and easy weeding.

Fast Five-Second Application

Siser specifies a five-second heat-press application using medium pressure of approximately 2.5 to 3.5 bar.

Use 120°C for fabrics weighing 150g/m² or less.

Use 150°C for fabrics weighing more than 150g/m².

Remove the carrier while hot after completing the pressing cycle.

Siser also recommends preheating the lower platen at 120°C for five seconds.

Allow the Adhesive to Set

Wait 24 hours after application before stretching the decorated garment.

This allows the adhesive to crystallise fully and supports reliable stretch performance.

Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash.

Garment Care

Wash decorated garments inside-out at temperatures up to 40°C.

Normal tumble drying is suitable, and delicate dry cleaning is also permitted.

Do not use bleach or aggressive chemical cleaning products.
