Introducing the Signmaster A to Z of Wide Format
This is a series of helpful blogs, guides and articles that we hope you will find useful. We will post a new blog every fortnight and we’d love to know what you think so please comment or drop us an email. We’d love to hear from you!
Let’s start at the beginning – A is for…
If you came to Signmaster to buy a wide format printer, it would be one of the first things we asked you……what sort of application are you looking to achieve?
The variety of applications available is what helps keep the print industry interesting and fast paced. Methods of achieving different applications is forever changing, mostly driven by faster printing methods but also due to changing consumer demands and design trends.
Variety is one of the many elements of being a supplier to the wide format print industry that we love. We are forever inspired by customers looking to achieve new applications and it is this that keeps all of the manufacturers (hardware and media) on their toes.
Through our many years of experience, we have found that the most common applications out there are as follows:
- Floor Graphics
- Point of Sale
- Promotional Items
- Stickers & Labels
- Vehicle Wrapping
- Wall Papers
- Window Graphics
We have discussed each at length on our website (check it out here – https://www.signmaster.co.uk/applications), linking printers that we feel would be the best fit in achieving those applications.
But due to our new owners coming across from the other side (they had their own print shop previously) Signmaster is now more than just a supplier. We understand and are here to help you achieve new and different applications as well as offering advice in applying a different methodology to complete applications faster and more efficiently. We love nothing more than offering tip bits as well as taking your idea for a new application and finding a way to create it, using the wide range of machinery we have or pointing you in the direction of a solution that best fits your needs.
So, whether you are after new application ideas, help with existing applications or have your own application idea, then please give us a shout, we’d love to hear from you and help bring your applications to life!
