What can the Roland VG3 Printer Series do?

The Roland VG3 Printer is a fantastic all-rounder, it can print pretty much anything onto pretty much anything.

With Roland’s exceptional build quality in a brand-new purpose-designed chassis, it’s a striking but functional addition to your print room.

The TrueVis 2 inks TR2 are the latest version of Roland’s solvent-based inks with a reduced gas-off time of 6 hours allowing you to produce great quality vibrant prints with a much quicker finishing time reducing that valuable production time.

The colour options available including white/green/orange inks give it an edge over other similar printers, by being able to produce amazing colours in your prints, especially when using the new True Rich colour options in Versaworks. They are so vibrant that some prints even look as though they are printed using neon inks!

The quick-release media handles on the front and rear media holders are a great addition making it super convenient to load rolls especially when you are holding a 50m roll in your hands whilst trying to find that thumbscrew!

It has a new full touchscreen control panel making it even easier to navigate the menus but still having Roland’s easy-to-use menu system makes it a win-win.

Setting up a new media type couldn’t be easier, as it has a new auto media setup function which does everything for you automatically, it makes it so simple to use, that literally, anyone could set up this machine.

The same goes for the calibrations, no more laborious and boring staring at prints and putting in the correct values, as the VG3 will now carry out all the feed/media gap calibrations automatically.

It has improved pincher rollers for a better grip on the media to reduce movement, they are much wider and also auto-raise for cutting. There is a new perforated sheet cut function allowing you to cut a long run of jobs individually but still be able to take them up, which makes it so easy to separate them off the printed roll afterwards.
